InDesign CS2@Work:Projects You Can Use on the Job by Cate Brosseau Indiano is now in release!

Come early September, you’ll see a book on the shelf at your local
bookstore with my name on it. Who would have thought, at the tender age
of 43, I would become an author? About a year ago, I got an e-mail in
my inbox that literally changed my life.
Again, who would have thought an e-mail could have that effect on a
person? The e-mail, from Linda Bump Harrison, invited me for a cup of
coffee and a discussion about a new book series.
Before I knew it, I was writing a project-based book on InDesign CS2. Along the way, I was introduced to the world of publishing, placement and the “flip factor.” While there were a few stressful moments, I enjoyed my experience and am anxious to know what you think
of the end product, InDesign CS2@ Work: Projects You Can Use on the
Job. Aimed at the marketing and communications professional who has a
beginner’s skill set in page layout or is transferring their existing
skill set to InDesign, I’ve tried to include the many projects I’ve
been privileged to work with my clients on over the years. Along the
way you will build an InDesign skill set, create practical and useful
projects, and hopefully learn a thing or two about workflow and
production. |
